The weather man had called for snow for the next 10 days, but according to their predictions 1-3 inches.
Yep that is what I woke up to this morning. I came from an area where they always over predicted the snow, now no matter what they predict we seem to always get 6+ inches.
My poor doggy trying to go to the bathroom but was confused by all the snow.
I know she probably really appreciated me taking a picture while she was peeing. Sorry Zoe!
I had every intention of getting up and going to the gym this morning. I woke up around 9:00 as planned but once I saw the snow I knew that it was safer and a better option to wait for Wes to get home from rotations and then drive to the gym together this afternoon. It was not the original plan but I can work with it.
After much blog reading and planning last night I have started to get an idea for what I will start to do at the gym.
Here is today’s workout.
I actually took the entire workout straight TheFitChick’s blog.
I was going to come up with my own weight plan for the day, but after reading the weights that went along with this I decided to just go ahead and do the entire thing.
Set 1:
Dumbbell Shoulder Press 3 x 10
Bent Over Lateral Raise 3 x 12
Mountain Climbers 3 x 15
Bicycle Crunches 3 x 15 each side
Set 2:
Oblique Twists 3 x 20
Crunches for 1 song on your ipod
Inner Leg Raises x 2
Set 3:
Plate hold (above head) 3 x 1 min
Walking pushups 3 x 8
Dumbbell arm circles 3 x 20
Medicine Ball Twists 3 x 15
I really love her blog and hopefully will learn a lot from her! Plus I mean who wouldn’t want their body to look like that!?
I will let you know how the workout went. It is definitely a change in what I am used to, but in the long run I think this is going to be good for me and really challenge my body in ways that it is not used to!
Off to get a few things done before we go to the gym later.
