I hurt so bad. Thankfully it is in a good way!
My workout consisted of:
20 minute treadmill run (5 minutes 6.0, 2.5 minute 6.5, 2.5 minutes 7.0 – 2x)
Wide pushups (on my knees) – 3 x 12
Dumbbell bench press – 3 x 12 (15 lbs)
Flat Bench Cable Flys (though I used dumbbells) 3 x 12 (10 lbs)
Narrow pushups (on my knees) 3 x 12 (AWFUL!)
Standing Dumbbell Tricep Extensions 3 x 12 (frist 2 sets 15 lbs, last set 10 lbs)
Triceps Push Down 3 x 12 (10 lbs)
I don’t know if it was because I was tired or I just have no upper body strength but this workout was killer. I am happy that tomorrow is a day off from weights so I will probably focus on doing maybe some light and relaxing running.
I am doing well on keeping up with my workouts, but really struggling when it comes to eating. I have always been a night time snacker. I do great during the day when I am at work and busy, but the moment I get home and start working, watching tv, or cleaning I start to snack. I am trying to do better at what I eat and try to limit my snacking but sometimes it sure does get hard.
In order to try to stay away from the kitchen and because I am completely worn out I am currently blogging from my bed.
I will go ahead and apologize to you. Today was very busy and I honestly forgot to take any pictures at the gym. I am new to this whole blogging thing but I promise I am working on it.
This little girl does not understand why her mom is tired anad thinks I should be as excited as here 24/7.
I am cutting this post sort. I am going to go and relax and try and help my body recover.
Goodnight!
I cannot imagine running 20 miles on a TREADMILL! I can barely handle running 20 minutes on the dreadmill! I typically choose dark, cold, rain running over treadmill running!
Hahaha well that was definitely a typo!! I meant 20 minutes – lol! The weights are what killed me though! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I’m absolutely the same way-too busy all day to pig out and then ravenous once I get home! But hey, it happens.
