Many of you may be familiar with Vega, I did a product review on their Vega One All-In-One Nutritional Shake several weeks ago. They are a company founded and built on plant-based nutrition.
Vega has also created a program called Thrive Forward. It is a FREE online program designed by Vega and former Ironman Brendan Brazier. It’s goal is to help people live a better and healthier life through plant-based nutrition.
On September 10, Vega will be launching their newest additional to the Thrive Forward program to help people learn to cook and make healthy plant-based meals at home. Thrive Kitchen will feature five video lessons that will features many guest chefs as they help to teach you how to incorporate easy and simple plant-based meals into your diet.
Vega has allowed me to have a sneak peak at some of these amazing recipes, and to share a great green drink recipe with you today!
This recipe comes from Matthew Kenney, the world’s leading raw foods chef and bestselling author who specializes in a plant-based lifestyle.

I’m off to spend one last day with the family. Let me know if you try out this great new recipe!
Don’t forget to enter my BIC Bands Giveaway! You have until Sunday at 12:00 PM EST!!
Enjoy your last day with your folks! Must seem like it has flown by …
I will definitely try this – but I think I’ll be flying solo on this one. My family is generally pretty tolerant of my bizarre health food kicks, but this one is a bit outside for them. I’ll check out the other stuff as well.
Totally random aside – I know you use a treadmill, do you read while on it? There is a new ‘crowdfunding’ program called Run-n-Read that I just was reading about. Not sure if it is worth checking out … seems like a cool idea, but not clear if it is practical or anything.
Have a great weekend, hope you have a great one!
Oh my goodness, this drink sounds delicious!
