Merry Christmas Eve!
I love this time of year. It is also amazing because I got to run yesterday. I did the same basic workout I did Saturday only I added a little bit more walking and the last interval was 5-4-3-2 instead of 4-3-2-1.
Total of 90 minutes and a little over 7 miles.
To say that I felt amazing would be an understatement. I cannot begin to explain just how great my body felt. During the time I was on the treadmill felt like I was back to my old self. Don’t worry I know I still have a way to go but the light at end of the tunnel keeps getting brighter!
I really think running in a new gym helped. New scenery, new treadmill, and just a new outlook!
My in-law’s gym is going to be getting Woodway treadmills soon! I really wish they had them already I would love to try one out!
Today I plan on getting in another early workout before spending the day surrounded by family. The next two days are entirely devoted to family and fun and I can’t wait.
I am going to cut this post a bit short today because it is almost midnight and my eyes are starting to close, plus family time is sometimes very rare so I am soaking up every last minute! I hope each and every one of you have an amazing Christmas eve!
….Merry Christmas to all and to call a Goodnight!
What are your plans for Christmas Eve?
Have you ever tried a Woodway treadmill?
My brother is coming in with his daughter this afternoon, as we have planned an ‘international cooking’ night, with all four of us choosing a country and making two items from that country.
My wife is doing Italy (continuing into tomorrow with Tiramisu for dessert), older son doing Germany (Bratwurst and a radish dip with veggies), younger son doing England with Jammie Dodgers (cool cookies) and Chips, and I chose Poland (I am Polish on my mom’s side) and am doing Pierogis and Golabkis, and also did a spiced pumpkin cheesecake (for some reason it is a polish-american staple dessert).
We are up early for our charity gift delivery (Arctic League) … and it is supposed to be about 6F outside … oh boy!
Have a great Christmas!
So glad you had such a good workout! I HAVE to find a time to workout today; I have never tried a Woodway treadmill, I have a Livestrong in my house and run on that. It’s nothing fancy, but it sure helps me get my run on in the winter months!
Baking Christmas cookies all day, decorating the tree, and then going to Rhode Island to spend Christmas Eve with my husband’s side of the family! Have a wonderful holiday!
Have a wonderful Christmas, Sara! Congrats on your run, too. I have no idea what a Woodway treadmill is, but I hope you get to try it and report back 🙂
Cute picture of the two of you…..Christmas (afternoon service soon) and then off to watch FROZEN again. It’s just the 5 of us at Christmas so we do pretty much whatever we want to do. 😉
FYI…I received the “favorite things” package today…thank you!! My family all asked where did I get all that stuff from and I told them I won it ….their reply….”NICE!!”
Just wanted to comment on the Woodway-LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I am fortunate to be a member of a very expensive gym for basically free. They have hundreds of treadmills, all top of the line, and the majority are Woodway. I have found that they are gentler on your body/joints. You will love them! I have a descent treadmill at home, and I do love running in my own environment, but doesn’t compare to the Woodway. Now I just need to get someone to get me a Woodway for Christmas 🙂
Merry Christmas! Never tried a Woodway. I have a treadmill that does it’s job: provides me a place to run when I can’t get outside. I’d love to see what all the fuss is about! So glad you are getting to run!
