Thank you for your sweet comments on yesterday’s post.
I am happy to say that a decision has been made. As I mentioned in my post a few days ago this means that we will be waiting until March to really get an answer, but we are content with the decision. I guess we will end up playing the waiting game for a little longer, but if it ends up getting Wes where he wants to be then it will be worth it.
It was a stressful Friday morning in our house so thankfully I had taken a rest day and was able to stay home.
I hope now I will be back to my normal self.
Early this week Mike tagged me in this blogger survey so I figured I better get into it. The basic idea behind it is to answer a few questions about yourself and then tag some of your favorite bloggers.
Here are the guidelines:
1. Post the logo on your blog. Done.
2. Thank the person who nominated you. Done.
3. Answer the questions. See below.
4. Choose 10 or so other blogger as your nominees. See below.
5. Post the links to the nominees’ blogs and notify them on their blog.
Seems simple enough. OK – let’s get started.
Favorite Color
Purple.
I think you can tell if you have seen enough of my photos on the blog.
Favorite Animal
This is a tough question. I think when it comes down to it I am a cat person. We have two cats: Gorman and Izzy. We got one in college and one right out of college.
Even though I am a cat person, our dog is also on the top of my list.
She is crazy, sometimes misbehaved, but you just can’t say no to that sweet face.
Favorite Non-Alcoholic Drink
I know as a runner I should say water here right?
I’m going to have to go with flavored water. My husband and I always buy flavored waters from the grocery store and they don’t last long in our house.
The main reason I like them is because I used to (and still do) have a small obsession with diet-soda so it helps to battle that craving sometimes.
Facebook or Twitter?
I love Twitter don’t get me wrong, but it is harder for me to keep up with. You will find me many nights sitting in bed browsing Facebook trying to fall asleep.
Do Instagram and Pinterest count too? If they do, they would be #2 and #3 on my list.
Favorite Pattern
Favorite pattern….now that is one you don’t hear every day.
I’d have to go with chevron. Remember when I posted about my new planner? The biggest selling point for me was the awesome chevron pattern. I know it’s quite girly but what can I say, I fit the part.
What is Your Passion?
Now we are staring to get a little deeper. As you remember from my goals for 2014, I am still struggling to find my ultimate passion; however, I do have a few passions that are probably pretty obvious.
Family
My husband and family come first and foremost. I know it sounds cliche but it is 100% true. Much like Mike, there is nothing to me that comes before my husband and family. They are always there for me, and will always be my #1.
Running
You knew it was coming. I may have a long way to go to get to where I want to be, but I am determined to get there. I will work hard each day to shape myself into the runner that I really aim to be.
I love not only running myself but supporting my husband in his running dreams. Our lives are often consumed with running.
Finally, choose 10 other bloggers to annoy tag to do a follow-up post:
I figured it would be fun to tag some of the awesome blogging readers I have.
1. Megan – The Lyon’s Share
2. Jaqueline – Skinny Chick Blog
3. Hayley – Healthy Regards Hayley
4. Emmeline – Run for the Pizza
5. Lis and Steph – 26.2 x 2
6. Lisa – Running Out of Wine
7. Lauren – The Bikini Experiment
8. Lauren – Will Run for Boston
9. Jade – Think and Run Jade
10. Annie – Love, Laugh, Run
Now it is your turn – answer one of the questions I answered above!
Any plans for your Saturday?
Thanks Sara! 🙂
It is funny, when I saw this on my phone I thought about color – and if you didn’t have purple as your color I would have called you out as a fraud! I think that was one of the first things I learned following your blog!
One thing I love about these sorts of things is finding new blogs – I already tend to click on the links when there are interesting comments, but some of the people you tagged I still didn’t know!
I am really hopeful that things work out for you and Wes the way you want, and I just have to say that as an old married guy nothing warms my heart like seeing young couples who are working through good times and bad together as a team. 🙂
Happy weekend!
Haha yes you know purple had to be on there 🙂
YAY for making a decision. Hope this brings you guys some peace of mind, even if it means waiting a bit longer. It seems like you’re going about the decision process all right, in my opinion! Thanks for the tag! Now I’m really going to have to do this survey :).
Thanks Megan! 🙂
Look forward to reading your answers.
Also, on the cat picture on the right, all I could think of was a caption:
“Yeah, I know you’re going to pick mouth-breather down there … see how many F’s I give? Now shaddup and feed me.”
Haha and I am pretty sure that is the vibe he is giving off! He just is that kind of cat. I think my husband snapped this picture, we always find it really funny when we catch him sitting that way.
Thanks for the tag! Glad you guys made a decision….hopefully that is one less thing to worry about!
Thank you! 🙂
Look forward to reading your post!
Thanks for nominating me! I will definitely be working this Q&A into my week 🙂
Look forward to reading it 🙂
