The winner of the I Am Brand giveaway will be announced at the end of today’s post.
Good morning!
A new week has begun! Are you ready!? We actually went out Saturday night and bought a few items that would help us stay a bit more organized in the new year.
A white board.
This will allow the husband and I to coordinate schedules and make a daily to do list.
A new planner.
While I have been eyeing some very intricate and expensive planners online it just wasn’t practical, so I found a great planner at Target for only $7.99. Sounds pretty reasonable to me!
Wes went and met some friends Sunday morning to run. Unfortunately due to my car having some issues we are down to one car until I am able to take it in. I was a little bummed because I had full intention to go and get a spinning session in, but it instead I ended up having an unplanned rest day.
I did get lots of cleaning done while he was gone.
We are having another snow storm coming through, so I knew this was my last chance to finally get our Christmas tree out and to the trash. I have had the decorations off of it for a few days but have been putting off taking it out to the trash.
Goodbye Christmas tree. I will miss you. The exciting thing to think about is where we will be next year when we get our Christmas tree. 2014 sure has a lot of new changes in store for us!
Our tree was so dried out it took me quite a bit of time to get all the remnants cleaned up.
I did catch these guys all hanging out together and not being much help to my cleaning extravaganza.
Can you tell which one just does not want to be there?
We hung out with some friends at night and prepped for the awful snow storm coming our way. Let’s hope it doesn’t live up to the hype.
It looks like it is going to be an indoor workout type of week. I’ve been spending most of my time indoors anyways, but still I had hopes of maybe getting a small run in outdoors this week.
I know most of you are here for the giveaway winner so I will get to it.
The winner is Sara Schwalm! Congrats Sara! I will be emailing you shortly to get your running shirt to you!
Don’t forget if you are interested in purchasing your own I Am Brand shirt you can use the code LOVINGONTHERUN for 20% off!
I have some more great things coming for you this week so stay tuned! 🙂
Do you still have your Christmas decorations up?
What is the weather looking like where you are?
Yay! I’m so excited! I’ll e-mail you shortly. I have a big decision to make.
Congrats! 🙂
Great stuff – and congrats to Sara (the prize winner … coincidence, eh?).
We have a monthly calendar (not wipe-off) on the pantry door in our kitchen that has all of our activities mapped out … I don’t know how we could possibly survive without it! Lisa has a paper organizer I get every year from Barnes & Noble – it is also monthly and has loads of other areas for her notes, contacts, and so on. I am an electronic guy (big surprise I know)!
Funny pics with the tree … it was so wiindy out this morning that there were two trees blown out into the road from their trash piles!
Yeah this weather is CRAZY! The worst of it is not even here yet. I am heading out soon to go get some work done before the gym and am not looking forward to facing this wind!
I love electronics but for some reason when it comes to planners there is nothing better than a written one 🙂
Yup – Christmas decorations are still up. I leave them up til my birthday at least (which is tomorrow!). I did not put as much stuff up this year, so it shouldn’t take me more than an hour or so to get it cleaned up. Only thing I’m worried about is lifiting the tree through the backyard which is piled with snow right now 🙁
Happy early birthday! I would have kept mine up longer if we didn’t have all this snow coming. Plus we had a heat wave yesterday and it was 30 degrees! Never thought ray would feel warm but it did! Haha
I think my husband and I need a white board like that to keep track of our schedules! I’ll tell him of plans that we have for days and days in a row and then the day arrives and he’s like surprised that we have something to do… haha
Haha I know very well how that is! It just makes it easier and helps simplify things!
I definitely need to invest in some products to help me stay organized better!
I am a dork when it comes to organization products – I want them all!
By the time I get organizational tools and organize things, I am too tired to actually do the work I organized my things for 😉
All my Christmas decorations are put up, but I still have our dead 11ft tall tree in our dining room. It has either been pouring down rain or 20* outside since I got the decorations off of it, so we haven’t been able to take it out yet. And it is driving me crazy.
I know! That is how it has been here. I saw one day of a break and new I had to get the tree out or it wouldn’t happen for a LONG LONG time.
