I was recently given the opportunity to try out a new product. I was really excited when I found out that RunnerBox would be sending me one of their bi-monthly subscription boxes.
In all honesty I had never tried out a subscription type box until now and so I was curious on how the whole process worked.
What is RunnerBox?
Runnerbox is a subscription based box for runners, triathletes and other active people. It is a mini shoebox filled with running products, mailed to your front door. It has everything from energy products, gels, chews, protein shakes/supplements, nutrition bars, skincare, and other accessories! Some products will be brand new (but personally tested) on the market, and some will be tried and true favorites. With so many products coming out on the market, leave the trials and testing to us, we’ll search out the best and send them to you!
The box only took 2-3 days to get to my front door.
Every RunnerBox comes with an awesome quote to motivate!
The moment I picked it up I could tell it was full of goodies to try out. On top of the goodies when you first open it is a list and description of not only the products but the companies who make them as well.
Here is a break down of what my box included:
- Kay’s Natural Protein Cookie Bites (Honey Almond)
- I Heart Keenwah Chocolate Sea Salt Quinoa Clusters
- True Bar (Coconut Cashew)
- Amrita Chocolate Recovery Bar
- Honey Stinger Waffle (Lemon)
- Klitch Footwear Clip
- PocketFuel Natural Java Energy Shot
- Coco Hydro Electrolyte Drink Mix
- Klitch Footwear Clip
- Health Warrior Chia Bar (Chocolate Peanut Butter)
- Ranis Granola (Mocha Latte)
I tried every single item in the box and was blown away that there wasn’t one thing I didn’t enjoy. This really doesn’t usually happen because I am usually picky about the taste of things.
There are actually three boxes that you can choose from:

Depending on your sport of choice you can select the:
TriBox: Specifically designed for triathletes. The box is sent every other month. It focus on products not only for running, but for biking and swimming as well.
RunnerBox: Obviously the box I chose that was geared towards products for runners.
CycleBox: As you would expect this box is geared towards cyclists. Again, this box arrives every other month.
The majority of the box was full of edible goodies, but it also included the Footwear Clip by Klitch.
The Footwear Clip will keep your shoes together when you are carrying them to the gym or placing them in your gym bag. It wasn’t something I ever would have tried out on my own, so it was a fun extra in the box!
Past RunnerBox’s have also included Injinji Socks, WIN detergent, Skin Strong, Cytosport, CLIF Shot Bloks and many other running related supplements and products.
You can view a complete list of all of their affiliate companies here.
Each box is different and it is a brand new surprise at your door step every other month. I was very impressed on not only how quickly the products got to my door but also in the quality of each and every product.
What would you like to see in a monthly subscription box as a runner?
Have you ever tried one before?
I’ve heard of so many other boxes, but never this one. I’m intrigued. Sounds like an awesome deal!
I have tried a few subscription boxes in the past but this was the first one that I really enjoyed EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT. Pretty awesome!
I’ve never tried a monthly subscription box before, but I’ve always wanted to. I love getting mail, and running related mail is even better!! I saw that Coco Hydro drink mix at REI the other day and wondered if it was good. Glad to hear it got a thumbs up from you…maybe I’ll try it. 🙂
It was delicious! I was a little skeptical at first though. It is like Christmas every other month!
It’s like receiving a present in the mail every month! I would love to get a runner box to try different products. It’s just kind of pricey for me
It sure is a nice way to try products before buying them to see if you like it! It was great!
This seems like a great box! I do love Honey Stinger Waffles.
Honey Stingers are some of my favorite! Love the waffles and their energy chews!
Runnerbox looks great! I just finished a 3 month subscription to Bulu Box, and it did not meet my expectations. This looks great though, and they give you a LOT of stuff! What is the cost?
It’s $20 Janelle! 🙂
I haven’t ever tried this one but I have tried Stride Box……Same concept running box goodies. It was fun to get goodies in the mail. I also enjoyed that there were often coupons or coupon codes for the products in the box 🙂 Stride box is $15 a month.
