This post was written through a campaign with SweatPink. All opinions are my own.
It’s no secret that I love my compression gear. I’ve used it for years to help aid in recovery during marathon training and every day running. I am a firm believer that it helped me significantly recover from one run to the next, especially on the days before I had a hard workout on schedule.
Compression gear has been shown to aid in:
- Reducing recovery time
- Keeps muscles warm
- Reduce impact to muscles
- Wicking away sweat
Needless to say, compression has always been important to me when it comes to running and recovery.
There are a variety of compression gear and companies on the market, and today I want to share with you about SKINS.
I was recently given the opportunity to try out a product from their SKINS DNAmic line. I’ve had a huge need recently of a good quality sports bra so when I saw the DNAmic Women’s Speed Crop on their site I knew I wanted to give it a try!
As the market is quickly becoming saturated by compression gear companies, but my first question was what really makes SKINS different? It is just going to be just like the other compression I have tried? As a runner, these are important questions to ask.
Here are just a few of the items that set SKINS apart:
- SKINS A400 and DNAmic ranges are the only high performance apparel to take into account compression levels needed to increase oxygen delivery to active muscles while in motion.
- SKINS gradient compression has been engineered to provide the correct level of surface pressure to specific parts of the body. This helps to enhance circulation and gets more vital oxygen to your active muscles.
- The fabric in SKINS is warp knitted using multiple fine quality yarns to give superior performance. Warp knit fabrics do not have a natural stretch, instead, the spandex mix ensure specific levels of elasticity and controlled compression.
- Memory MX fabric contains a unique high stretch elastomeric yarn – which returns to its original shape no matter how much stress you put it under. This means that you will get the same amount of compression on day one as you will 1 year later.
As I mentioned above I tried out the DNAmic Women’s Speed Crop because I’ve been in dire need of a new sports bra. As they describe on their site:
“With medium impact support and smooth elastic straps that won’t dig into your shoulders, the SKINS DNAmic Crop Top is built to take the discomfort and distraction out of your workout. The DNAmic crop top provides all the support you need to stay cool. Calm, and collected from warm up to warm down.”
I love the feeling and it has quickly grown to become one of my favorite sports bras in rotation. You can tell it is really made and geared towards athletes due to its increased support. Let’s face it, during pregnancy I need this even more.
It survived runs on the treadmill and runs outdoors. It keeps the moisture away and helps to keep me cool which can be a big problem during the extremely hot summer months.

I would love to try any of the products, especially the woman’s DNAmic long tights!
Dynamic women’s speed crop please! One always needs a great sports bra in this Georgia heat!!
I love the one you have on. Looks perfect
I’d love any, but the dynamic tights would be my first choice! Thank you!
That bra looks awesome! I, myself, use compression sleeves for any runs longer than 30 mins & I’m a believer that compression is super helpful for recovery & for some reason just feel “safer” having them on?
I would love to try any of their products. I’m a huge fan of compression gear as it helps with recovery!
The sports bra!
I would love to try the bra!!! Thank you! ?
I would like to try the half tights.
DNAmic crop top looks awesome, I’d love to try it. GA’s summer heat always needs some awesome workout gear.
Definitely the bra!!
I’ve never worn any of the Skins products. I’d love to try the 3/4 length capris to see how they compare to my CW-X. I’d also like to try the recovery tights for after long runs.
I like the midnight/sage speed crop!
I’d love to try the sports bra you are wearing! Looks ultra comfy and supportive too!
I want a DNAmic womens speed crop!!! I am in desperate need of a good sports bra!
i would love to win/try the sports bra you are wearing or the A200 WOMEN’S COMPRESSION 3/4 TIGHTS
I’ve worn compression socks and sleeves but never a compression bra, pants, etc. I’d love to try the bra out!
That sports bra looks really comfortable! I have looked at their stuff before and wondered how their long tights would feel after a run, probably pretty good!
Great review. The DNAmic crop top sounds like what I’m looking for. I need a new sports bra. Currently training for 2 marathons, a Ragnar relay, and 5 other short distances. This will be the most miles I’ve ran in a year. It would be awesome to have a trusty bra in the rotation. Thank for sharing your ups and downs on IG, especially lately.
I would like to get something for my wife. She is about to have a baby and can’t wait to start running again
Oh my gosh! I’d love the bra! You can never have enough good sports bras!
My training plan has me doing speedwork every day. Yikes! I started wearing calf sleeves to bed every night to help with recovery. Mine are getting old though, so I’m probably needing some new ones soon. 🙂
If I am chosen as the winner my choice will most likely be for the DNAmic Men’s Long Tights is Black. I’ve been wearing compression socks with pretty good success, but have never worn pants. I’m curious to see how well they aid performance and recovery.
What a deal? I’d love a pair of the 1/2 tights, crop top or sports bra! Thanks and best of luck to all
Dynamic speed crop bra
I would love to try the sports bra!
The a400 Mens Long tights would be my pick. Great giveaway and review
I love all compression gear, but the sports bra you have on looks great!
I’d like to try the Essentials Compression Socks Active Midweight. I’ve been putting in the mile this year and I’d like to see if those would help.
would love to try the bra! I have had trouble finding the perfect sports bra to run in and this one looks like a great one to try.
I’m a big fan of compression socks and sleeves – love the skins calf sleeves. I’d be really interested to try out the sports bra. It looks like you could get away with wearing it as a top on its own!
I’d love their compression socks! Thanks for hosting this giveaway! I came over from your Instagram! 🙂
The long tights looks awesome! I have one pair of full length compression tights and they are killer before big races!
A sports bra… I have been searching for a good running bra!
