Even though Easton is turning 4 months tomorrow, I’m still going to count these as his 4 month favorites! It truly is amazing how much he will change from month to month!
His interests change so quickly these days but it’s so fun to watch him develop and grow.
Here are some of his favorite things at 4 months old!
Sophie the Giraffe
In the past two weeks Easton is becoming more and more aware of what is around him. He loves to reach out for things, touch them, and stick pretty much everything in his mouth. We were introduced to Sophie the Giraffe just a few weeks ago and I can’t tell you how much he LOVES it!
The idea behind Sophie is that she can stimulate all 5 senses:
- The dark spots on Sophie provide visual stimulation.
- Unique and easily identifiable smell
- 100% natural rubber and comforting texture for baby
- She squeaks when pressed to stimulate baby’s hearing
- Soft part so help soothe baby’s gums
Easton loves to stick toys in his mouth and this one actually helps him to feel better as we begin the teething process!
They also have a great collection of glass bottles and even their brand new party set to celebrate that special birthday coming up for your little one!
Dr. Brown’s Gerry the Giraffe Lovey Pacifier & Teether Holder
It’s amazing sometimes what kids will begin to become attached to. We gave Easton as pacifier just a few weeks after he came home. He never took much to it, but the only one that he semi wanted anything to do with was the Dr Browns. I think it was because it was shaped close to the nipple of his bottles.
Gerry the Giraffe is a Lovey that is attached to the pacifier to help keep it in his mouth. Easton LOVES Gerry. I think its so cute when we are driving in the car he will be back there talking to him and making all kinds of noises. While he still isn’t big on the pacifier he loves to take Gerry everywhere we go!
Fisher Price Sit Me Up Floor Seat
I cannot tell you how much of a life savor the Fisher Price Sit Me Up Floor Seat has been. I have a wonderful group of Mom’s that I talk often to about what products their little one’s loved and this one came highly recommended. I got it at the point where Easton was able to support his neck and was constantly wanting to look around.
It’s an easy seat to sit him in when I am trying to cook lunch or dinner, get a little bit of work done on my computer, or even sometimes when I need just 5 minutes to take a shower. He loves to play with the toys that hang on front of the chair and it really has been a life savor!
SwaddleMe Swaddles
I am going to miss these so much when we can’t swaddle him anymore. We are starting to see the attempts to turn over from back to front so I know it is only a matter of time before we are going to have to try something new, but for now the SwaddleMe Swaddles are a life savor!
They are perfect for him and signal that it’s time to get ready for bed. Every time I get him in his swaddle he knows it’s time to settle down for bed. They are a great sense of comfort as well for him.
Baby B. Glow Zzz’s Whale Soothing Sound Sleeper
There are very few things these days that can keep Easton occupied in his Pack N Play, but this Whale Soothing Sound Sleeper that we got at our baby shower does wonders!
It makes severals different sounds and lights up and does a great job of catching his attention. It’s such a simple thing but he really loves it and it’s so great for helping to occupy him for a few minutes when something needs to get done. Plus, it goes great with our nursery decor!
What is something your child absolutely LOVES?
