There are quit the number of protein bars out on the market today. While they all market themselves as “healthy” and a good “meal substitute” not many of them actually are able to live up to their name.
We love protein bars in our house because they are a great way to help tackle sweet tooth cravings (especially late at night) but sometimes if you aren’t careful your “protein bar” can end up being a glorified candy bar!
The other night while we were browsing Target (as we do a couple times a week) to my surprise when I passed the aisle of protein bars I noticed they now carried Quest Protein Bars!
You’ve probably heard of Quest Protein Bars but if you’ve never tried them I would suggest putting them on your next Target run list.
Why Quest Protein Bars over others?
Quest Protein Bars are set apart for a few reasons:
- Each bar contains: 20 g of protein, 4-7 g net carbs, 170-210 calories, 13-15 g fiber, and no added sugar.

I love S’more flavor in just about anything and these did not disappoint!
Each box contains 4 bars and if you are anything like me they make the perfect snack to put in your purse (or diaper bag in my case) and make sure to always have a snack on hand when the hunger starts. Breastfeeding has made this even more important to me as I find myself hungry more often!

How to Enjoy Your Quest Bars
Of course, the easiest way to enjoy your Quest Bar is just open and eat! Right out of the package they are delicious. However; there’s a fun trick that can make it even more delicious a great dessert if you are looking for something with more healthy benefits!
Take your Quest Bar and stick it in the microwave for 10 seconds. That’s it. You will get the “out of the oven” experience!
Quest Bars can also be added into many recipes to add great flavor and a nutritional kick. They are great in:
- Your favorite smoothie
- Added into pancakes of waffle mix for a fun surprise
- Add into your favorite no bake cookies
The possibilities are really endless when it comes to the use of these delicious bars!
