I was recently given the opportunity to try some new-to-me fitness items that Babble Boxx was kind enough to send to me. I thought I’d give you all a sneak peek.
Tiger Balm: Active Muscle Spray
As a runner, I know first hand how hard it can be to keep getting in the workouts with achy sore muscles. Even though sore muscles are a sign that you body is changing and getting stronger, it can be make it harder to keep getting in your training!
The Tiger Balm Active Muscle Spray helps to relieve muscle aches, sprains, strains, and sore muscles. The spray application makes it super easy to apply and can even reach those hard to reach areas!
I found the spray was super easy to put on anywhere I needed it, didn’t leave a strong odor, and was simple enough to do right before your going out the door.

AfterShokz: Trekz Air
I’ll be completely honest I was a little skeptical when I received these AfterShokz Trekz Air mostly just because I have never tried a bone conduction headphone before.
These new Trekz Air use titanium to help ensure a better fit and sound. They are also their lightest headphones yet!
So, what are my thoughts on the innovative AfterShokz?
They took some getting used to for me at first, but after a few runs I found them really pretty comfortable. I actually found that I used them more in the gym when I was doing my strength training than anything. It allowed me to hear what was going on around me while still getting in my zone so that I could get the job done!
They do fit snug to my head and I didn’t have that much problem with them moving around and the sound was more clear and vibrant than I had originally expected. I definitely prefer them for strength over running, but that’s just my personal preference since I tend to like very loud music during my run.

Go Comfort Insoles by Superfeet
Before I received the Go Comfort Insoles I have to admit I had never tried any type of insole in any of my shoes.
I was sent three different types of Go Comfort Insoles to try:
- All Day Insoles – which help to relieve arch, heel, and low back pain for 18+ hours.
- Work Insoles – providing anti-fatigue support for harder surfaces such as concrete.
- Athletic Insoles – these insole provide max shock absorption for high impact activities.
I’ll be the first to admit I really don’t like to mess with a good thing. I’ve never had trouble with my running shoes insoles and I was afraid to go and mess with those too much. However; the one thing I knew I needed was insoles for my shoes I wear the rest of the day. It’s not the 1 hour or so that I’m running each day that are hard on my feet, it’s the other 14+ hours in my day that I’m chasing around my crazy toddler.
The All Day Insoles were so wonderful to add to my regular shoes I wear throughout the day and I really found that they helped alleviate some of the foot and arch pain from running or just from the pressure we constantly put on our feet. I noticed a difference in how my feet felt at the end of the day and even the next morning!

CELIUS Original Line: Sparkling Kiwi Guava
The final item I tried out in my Babble Boxx was Celsius.
I have to start off by saying I’m really not into “fat loss” claims.
Celsius uses their proprietary MetaPlus formula which includes green tea with EGCG, ginger and guarana seed that is supposed to turn on thermogenesis, which is a process that boost your body’s metabolic rate.
I don’t run and strength train to lose weight. I do it for performance so I’m not going to speak to the drink’s ability to “burn more calories” because to me that is no my goal when I lace up my shoes every single morning.
I will however; attest to the fact that Celsius is delicious and refreshing! It also includes 7 essential vitamins, has no high fructose corn syrup, no aspartame, no preservatives, and no artificial colors or flavors.
You can check out more about Celsius here.
Thanks again to Babble Boxx for sponsoring this post and allowing me to try some new-to-me items to help with my fitness routine!
