Goals help us stay motivated. They keep us focused. Most people find that goals are what keep them getting out the door every single morning because it keeps them chasing that dream.
Even now while pregnant, I may not have a specific race goal but I still have goals for running!
- To stay strong and prepare my body for delivery.
- To maintain a base so that when I do run again postpartum it isn’t as big of a shock to my body.
- To be ready to work towards big goals I’ve set for myself postpartum.
- To continue running so I can be the best wife, mom, and person I can be!
Goals don’t have to be this huge race, they can be smaller more attainable goals depending on where you are at. Sometimes its even good to set those BIG goals but also small progress goals!
